The Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast that East Malaysia is likely to experience continuous rainfall from December 27 to 29.
According to the weather forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, there will be monsoon rains (Luruan Monsun) from December 27 to 29. The chances of continuous rainfall on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia are low due to the low humidity of the air.
However, the eastern part of Sabah and the western part of Sarawak may experience continuous rainfall from December 27 to 29. Strong winds and waves are expected in the South China Sea, including the east coast of the peninsula.
The public is urged to be vigilant when traveling to these areas. Besides, the Meteorological Department will continue to track weather conditions and issue weather warnings as necessary.
