my country will enter the northeast monsoon season from November 11th!

According to a statement issued by the Malaysian Meteorological Department, my country will enter the northeast monsoon season on November 11, and the northeast monsoon season will last until March 2024. There will be 4 to 6 sustained heavy rains during this period.

Kelantan, Terengganu, Johor, Pahang and western Sarawak will experience heavy rains from November this year to January 2024. If the heavy rain situation intensifies and low pressure occurs, other states will also experience heavy rain.

The Bureau of Meteorology pointed out that persistent heavy rains will bring flooding to low-lying areas and coastal areas. If sustained heavy rains and high tides occur at the same time, the risk of flooding will increase.

Not only that, large waves also occur in the South China Sea during the northeast monsoon. The public is urged to be vigilant and pay attention to the latest information released by the Meteorological Bureau.
