There are slow traffic on numerous expressways this morning.

As of this morning at 8:30 a.m., numerous major expressways are reported to have delayed traffic flow as a result of an increase in the number of drivers on the road because of Deepavali holidays and the long weekend.

On its Twitter page, the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) reported that traffic on the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Expressway immediately before the Gombak Toll Plaza was moving slowly.

According to the report, eastbound East Coast Expressway Phase 1 (LPT1) traffic is also moving slowly before the Genting Sempah Tunnel.

According to LLM, a traffic accident at Kilometer 155.8 (southbound) occurred at around 7:45 this morning, closing the left lane and producing a two-kilometer backup from Bukit Gambir to Pagoh.

It is also stated that traffic is flowing slowly from Rawang Selatan to Rawang, Slim River to Sungkai, Bidor to Tapah, and Tapah to Gopeng.

Meanwhile, in the Klang Valley, LLM reported that traffic flow on routes such as the Damansara-Puchong Expressway, the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), and around the Sungai Besi toll plaza was remained calm.
