Caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri has announced the dissolution of the parliament on October 10 and the return of politics to the people to elect a new federal government with the votes in their hands.

With the dissolution of the parliament, many people will be concerned whether the state assemblies will also be dissolved in order to hold simultaneous general elections. For now, it is certain that 4 states will not dissolve their state assemblies simultaneously, because these states have already held state elections in the past 1 to 2 years.
