The Honda City has surpassed the Vios and Almera as Malaysia’s best-selling B-segment sedan.
The Honda City overtook the Toyota Vios and Nissan Almera as the best-selling B-segment motorhome in Malaysia in the first quarter.
The Honda City was the best-selling B-Segment Sedan in Malaysia from January to March this year, according to a post on the Honda Malaysia Facebook page. This is also the case with the Honda City, which has reclaimed the title of best-selling B-segment motorhome after being momentarily displaced in 2021 by the Toyota Vios.
Honda City, Toyota Vios, and Nissan Almera have long been fierce rivals. People will usually hesitate between these three models while purchasing a B-class RV.
Overall, the Honda City has a powerful engine, while the Toyota Vios is well-equipped for safety, and the Nissan Almera is distinctive in appearance. The Honda City costs between RM76,800 and RM89,800, while the Toyota Vios costs between RM77,600 and RM98,100.
The Toyota Vios has recently been delayed in delivery due to a lack of automotive chips, and owners will have to wait 2 to 4 months to get their car.
