No more temperature checks before entering school!
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Education, it is no longer mandatory for everyone to check their body temperature before entering school. This measure will take effect from February 11, 2022.
Students do not need to check their temperature before entering schools, but teachers, school staff, and visitors will still need to scan MySejahtera before entering school.
The Ministry of Education urges parents and guardians to check the physical condition of their children before going to school. If they find symptoms of Covid-19 or fever, they should not send their children to school, also test their children for Covid-19.
If a student’s family member has been diagnosed with covid-19, the student is advised not to attend school for the time being and instead study at home.
