The government will distribute RM150 back-to-school assistance to all primary and secondary school students in January.
According to previous news released by the Ministry of Education of Malaysia (KPM), the Bantuan Awal Persekolahan will continue to be distributed in 2024, and all primary and secondary school students will receive RM150.
The Back-to-School Assistance Payment (BAP) will help parents reduce the burden of starting school. Each student will receive RM150 and will be distributed in January. The government has allocated a total of RM788.13 million as back-to-school assistance, which can benefit a total of 5.254200 students.
Parents and guardians of students do not need to fill out an application form to automatically receive the RM150 Back-to-School Assistance Payment (BAP). Parents of students will be able to receive the back-to-school aid in cash, or by direct payment to the student’s bank account.
