Malaysia government plans to fully implement MYDigitalID Cards in 2025. This electronic ID cards will be able to identify individuals with fingerprints, facial features, pupils, names and dates of birth.
Through the MYDigitalID, relevant units will be able to identify individuals more precise, faster, simpler and safer. This electronic ID is also effective in preventing online fraud.
Once the MYDigitalID is officially launched, it will definitely brought convenient for all the citizens to conduct transactions or apply for specific services online, without worrying about identity theft.
Estonia, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom have already launched this electronic ID cards.
