The government has released RM450 to RM2300 BPR aid payments to 8.5 million low-income groups!

A total of 8.5 million people have benefited from the BPR!

According to the information issued by the Ministry of Finance of Malaysia, the BPR has successfully distributed RM9.6 billion to 8.5 million B40 low income groups. These low-income groups received BPR assistance from RM450 to RM2300.

The BPR is the program announced by the government last year, and is divided into four phases, one of which is to increase the amount of aid. Applications for BPR are open from January 15 to February 25 of this year.

The first phase of BPR payments was paid to the recipients from February 24. The second phase of the BPR payments will be released from May 7. The additional payment will be paid from June 29th and the third phase will be paid from September 28th.

Appeals will then be open from June 15 to June 30 for those whose applications were previously unsuccessful. Those who are successful in their appeals may also receive assistance from September 28.

The government will present next year’s budget on October 29th, and it is expected that the budget will also announce the announcement of the annual assistance payment. If you are in the B40 low income group, you should pay attention to the budget presented on October 29th.
