Minister of Ministry of Defence revealed that the government agreed to unify the business hours of restaurants, petrol stations and convenience stores throughout the country from 6: 00 am to 12: 00 midnight, but this did not include the areas where the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) was implemented.
Senior Defence Minister Hishammuddin Hussein said this was agreed to at the second Covid-19 Ministerial Quartet Meeting.
“We will bring it into the meeting of the Covid-19 Pandemic Management Special Committee chaired by the Prime Minister to seek approval and decide the date of implementation before making an announcement.”
