The first Apple Store will be opened in Malaysia and Apple has started hiring for retail store-related positions!

18/12/2022

Since last year, there were rumors that Apple may open the first official Apple Store in Malaysia. At that time, the rumors indicated that Apple representatives have started talks with the management of Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) in Malaysia, and TRX is expected to open the first Apple Store in Malaysia.

A photo has recently appeared on the Skyscrapercity forum, purportedly revealing the first Apple Store in Malaysia. According to the photo, a group of construction workers are installing a glowing Apple Store logo at The Exchange at Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), but the photo is not too clear because there are a lot of steel pipe frames blocking the view of the store.

In addition, according to a report by Says, the Jobs at Apple website shows that Apple has started recruiting staff for its upcoming retail store in Malaysia! From the job posting, Apple is hiring for positions including managers and store leaders, and this seems to be further validating the news of Apple Store coming to Malaysia.

In fact, Apple has five Apple Stores in Southeast Asia, including Thailand and Singapore have their own official Apple Store, of which Thailand has opened a second Apple Store.
