The DuitNow payment function is also supported by ShopeePay.
DuitNow is also supported by ShopeePay. Without entering bank card details, you can send money directly from your bank to ShopeePay.
The functionalities of DuitNow’s collection and transfer have been enabled by a number of domestic e-wallet platforms over time, making it easier for users to collect, transfer, and recharge. At the end of September, ShopeePay formally included the transfer and payment features of DuitNow.
Typically, there are a variety of ways to replenish ShopeePay. The most popular technique is to immediately enter bank card information and then recharge ShopeePay using the bank card. The risk of bank card information being compromised exists when entering bank card information in an electronic wallet.
Because of this, it is advised that you use ShopeePay’s recently developed DuitNow payment feature. Users need only open the bank APP and then enter the transfer function. The transfer can then be finished by entering the DuitNow ID associated with your ShopeePay account.
The ShopeePay account’s DuitNow ID currently only accepts a cellphone number as a personal identification code; it does not accept the usage of an ID number or any other pieces of personal data. You cannot use DuitNow to receive money on ShopeePay if your cell phone is already your DuitNow ID for another bank account.
You can receive money directly in ShopeePay and won’t give out bank card information to outside parties by using the ShopeePay DuitNow collecting function.
Additionally, ShopeePay supports the DuitNow transfer feature. Users can transfer money directly from their ShopeePay account to their bank account, which is a very effective approach because the bank account will get the money right away.
Users who receive at least RM50 through the DuitNow collection between October 1 and October 31, 2022, will receive a 100% Coins Cashback Voucher as a reward for using the DuitNow payment function. The user’s Shopee account will receive the coupon on Friday.
