Lamborghini, as a world-renowned car brand, has always been the pursuit of many people. If you can have one in your lifetime, it is already a dream come true. However, an NFT artist, but recently, a Lamborghini, will be boldly blown up into 999 pieces, and each piece will be made into a separate NFT work for auction, with a total transaction amount of more than 1 million U.S. dollars (about RM 4.18 million)!

According to foreign media reports, NFT artist Shl0ms shared a peculiar idea on Twitter last September, proposing the idea of “physically dividing” a Lamborghini luxury car. After the tweet was released, it attracted a lot of discussion, and some fans even gave suggestions that he should just blow up the car. who did not expect that this suggestion attracted the attention of Shl0ms, and eventually decided to adopt this suggestion, and bought a brand new Lamborghini sports car out of his own pocket, intending to “physically part” it through the explosion.

Of course, Shl0ms’ ultimate goal was not to blow up the Lamborghini into dust, but to blow it up into pieces and call it an NFT piece for auction. So, in order to “perfectly” blow the Lamborghini into pieces, the Shl0ms formed a team of 100 people, including a licenced explosives engineer, to calculate the amount of gunpowder needed to blow up the Lamborghini and not turn it into ashes. The explosives engineer who accepted the role even said outright that this was his most challenging explosion to date.

After some preparations, the team finally succeeded in blowing up the Lamborghini on February 2. After the explosion, the team collected 999 pieces of the Lamborghini and recorded each piece in 4K video quality. Subsequently, 111 of them were acquired by team members with the initial funding, while the remaining 888 fragments will be auctioned on February 25.

According to the team’s plan, the 888 individual 4K images of the video to be auctioned will be priced at 0.5 to 1 (etherum), and if the auction is completed successfully, the total transaction is expected to be between $1.12 million (over RM4.69 million) and $2.24 million (over RM8.38 million), which is several times the value of the Lamborghini ($250,000/over RM1.05 million)! Several times the price of that Lamborghini (US $250,000/RM1.05 million)!
