The Cabinet released the 2023 holiday calendar!

The public holiday calendar for 2023 has been officially released by the Cabinet!

Malaysia can take advantage of numerous public holidays every year because it is a multiracial nation! In Malaysia, there are two different kinds of holidays: national holidays and holidays that are specifically observed in particular states.

There will be 12 national public holidays and 32 state public holidays in 2023, according to the Cabinet’s announcement of the calendar.

The 22nd (Sunday) and 23rd (Monday) of January 2023 are Chinese New Year holidays. Easter is observed on April 22 (Saturday) and April 23 (Sunday). Thanksgiving is on November 12th (Sunday).

In 2023, numerous significant public holidays and festivals fall on Saturdays and Sundays, depriving many people who would normally take a weekly vacation on Saturday of a day of vacation. For holidays that fall on a Sunday, you can take off work on the following Monday.

You can start preparing for 2023 by adhering to this calendar of public holidays.
