The BYD Atto 3 electric car has prices starting from RM149,800.
BYD, a Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has launched the BYD Atto 3 model in Malaysia. The BYD Atto 3 is available in two variants in Malaysia: the Standard Range Version (SR) and the Extended Range Version (ER).
The standard version of the BYD Atto 3 has a battery capacity of 49.92kWh, a cruising range of 410 kilometres, and is priced at RM149,800, while the range-extended version has a battery capacity of 60.48kWh, a cruising range of 480 kilometres, and is priced at RM167,800.
The BYD Atto 3 is powered by a pair of front-mounted electric motors that produce 203 horsepower and 310Nm of torque, with a 0 to 100km/h acceleration time of 7.3 seconds. It can be charged in 9.5 hours using AC power, and it can be charged in 45 minutes using DC power.
The standard BYD Atto 3 has 17-inch wheels, while the extended-range model has 18-inch wheels. The body length of the BYD Atto 3 is 4,455mm, the width is 1,875mm, the height is 1,615mm, and the wheelbase is 2,720mm.
The BYD Atto 3 has a panoramic glass sunroof and luggage rack, as well as a 5-inch electronic instrument panel and a 12.8-inch host that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The BYD Atto also has 7 airbags, an automatic brake assist system, an automatic cruise system, a blind spot detection system, and a rear traffic warning system.
The original 6-year/150,000-km electric vehicle warranty, 8-year/160,000-km battery warranty, and 8-year/150,000-km warranty for electric motors, transformers, and electronic wiring components will remain in effect. The original factory also offers car owners 1,000 credits for free use of public charging stations.
