The BKC subsidy will be available from September 6. People can check online if they are a beneficiary!

BKC subsidy will be available from September 6th! The B40 low-income group will be the first to receive aid, while the M40 middle-income group will have to wait until September 9.

The Bantuan Khas Covid-19 (BKC) package, which was announced by former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin in May, is aimed at mitigating the impact of the lockdown on people’s incomes. Families earning up to RM9,000 a month and single people earning up to RM5,000 a month are eligible.

If you are a Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) recipient, you are classed as B40 low income. Those who qualify in the tax database will be classified as the M40 middle-income group.

Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance has launched a special website for Bantuan Khas Covid-19 (BKC) so that people can check whether they are beneficiaries. The website will open its search function on September 6, and people will be able to query it by inputting their id number. BKC website is https://bkc.hasil.gov.my/.

Under the first phase of the Bantuan Khas Covid-19 (BKC), RM500 for very poor families, RM200 for very poor singles, RM500 for B40 families, RM200 for B40 singles, RM250 for M40 families and RM100 for M40 singles.
