The most recognized and successful middle school art competition in the nation is the 2023 “Malaysia Top 10 Outstanding Young Artists Competition” run by The One Academy. This year, offline events will return after a three-year pandemic! The competition’s 26th version is even more interesting. The winner of this competition will work with Disney Pixar’s original animated feature “Elemental” to identify a new group of future high school artists in Malaysia!
The competition’s topic, “The Beauty in Differences,” was drawn from the central idea of the Disney Pixar animated film “Elemental”. Students can use art to express their personal understanding of “differences” and to appreciate the beauty it brings by selecting realistic or fantastical subjects and styles. It encourages everyone to spread good vibes and create an open atmosphere in addition to inspiring students’ creative thinking.
Outstanding secondary school students on the list will participate in this competition and be awarded scholarships and cash prizes worth more than RM830,000. The One Academy scholarships worth RM90,000, RM70,000, and RM50,000 will be given to the winners of the gold, silver, and bronze awards, together with the following seven outstanding students. A scholarship worth RM30,000 will be given to each Art Award winner, in addition to other prizes.
