According to the announcement made by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri, teenagers need to be vaccinated in order to enjoy the various conveniences, and this measure is expected to be implemented in mid-November.
The vaccination program for adolescents against covid diseases in Malaysia started on September 20. As of October 21, 80.2% or 2,254,156 adolescents have received at least one dose of the vaccine, and if all goes well, these adolescents will be able to complete two doses of the vaccine by mid-November.
Therefore, the government has decided to implement various convenience measures for adolescents after completing vaccination in mid-November, which means that adolescents can enjoy the same convenience as adults after completing vaccination, such as dine-in, cross-state, cinema, haircut, etc.
As of the evening of October 21, 71.8% of the population had completed two doses of the vaccine.
