Surprising Discovery: Functional iPhone Found During Lake Cleanup

29/05/2023

The “Four Lakes Scuba Club” is a scuba diving organization in Wisconsin, USA, that holds four annual lake cleanup operations. They frequently find a variety of interesting artifacts in the lake during these occasions. Despite the fact that their main objective is to remove dangerous materials from the water, such as plastic products and electronics, they recently discovered a startling discovery in Lake Mendota: an iPhone that, astonishingly, could still be powered on and used after being recharged.

Evans, the club’s president, reportedly stated that they routinely come up with various models of cell phones during their cleanups, according to reports from foreign media. Once they are brought ashore, they typically try to charge them, but most of the phones are broken. This time, though, they discovered an iPhone that was still functional. In an effort to track down the phone’s legitimate owner, the club turned the phone over to the police.

The phone was identified by the police as belonging to Eisenberg, a university student, after an inquiry. Eisenberg expressed amazement after learning the news and claimed that he had misplaced the phone in the summer of 2022 while kayaking with pals. Amazingly, the phone was found after a year and was still in working order.
