According to the Ministry of Finance, applications for the 2024 STR will be open all year round, and those who are eligible can go online to apply or update their information.
Existing beneficiaries are urged to update their information, and even if there is no change in their information, they can still go online to check their information to avoid any discrepancy between the information in the STR database and their existing information.
It is very easy to update or check your information online by going to https://bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my/, entering your ID number and clicking on Log Masuk. Then enter your password to log in to your account. Then select Kemas Kini Permohonan and check your information to see if it is accurate. After checking and updating click on Hantar and you are done.
Applications for STR assistance will be processed from January 2024 and the assistance will be disbursed to the beneficiaries in February at the earliest.
