The 10 local governments in Selangor will fully implement electronic parking from January 3, 2022 and the original paper parking coupons can still be used until March 31.
According to a message issued by Petaling Jaya Mayor Mohd Azhan, the public can return unused paper parking coupons and receive a refund. The public can get a refund by simply bringing a paper parking coupon to the Smart Selangor Delivery Unit (SSDU) office.
After the implementation of electronic parking in Selangor, people who do not have a smartphone can go to the agent site that sells parking coupons to provide their license plate number, and then ask the agent to help pay the parking fee through electronic toll collection.
