Malaysia-Singapore border will open on 29 November and the Malaysia-Thailand border is expected to reopen on 15 December. If you are planning to travel abroad, is your passport still valid? If your passport has expired, you can now renew it online.
Renew your passport using the My Online Passport System
Step 1: Visit https://imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/eservices/myPasport.
Step 2: Read the terms and conditions for renewing your passport online.
Step 3: Click on Setuju at the bottom of the page.
Step 4: Select the applicant’s age category and enter the passport number, ID number and other details.
Step 5: Select the branch of the immigration office where the passport is to be collected.
Step 6: Follow the instructions, fill in the details, upload an eligible photo and complete the payment process.
Step 7: Print your passport renewal receipt.
Step 8: Bring your receipt, old passport and ID card to the designated Immigration branch to collect your renewed passport
Tips:
1. Passport renewal service only.
2. The photographs uploaded must be taken by a professional photographer.
3. The size of the photograph must be 50mm X 35mm. 4.
4. The background of the photo must be white.
5. The person in the photo must be wearing dark clothing.
6. Payment must be made by credit card or FPX.

1. 13-59 years old: RM200
2. Senior citizens (60+ years) :RM100
