SPM results will be released on June 16! If you are not satisfied with your SPM exam results, you can apply for a re-correction.

Although test scores don’t mean everything, SPM test scores will affect your path to higher education. If you feel dissatisfied with your results, you can file an appeal to have them recorrected.

The appeal deadline for requesting a re-correction is one month (30 days) after the examination results are released. The result of the appeal is expected to be announced within 2 months after the deadline.

Candidates interested in re-correcting their examination papers can visit https://elp.moe.gov.my/ and then select Daftar Akaun. Once you have completed your account registration you can select Perkhidmatan, then click on Semak Semula and select SPM Semak Semula.

You will need to enter your ID number, candidate number, email, mailing address, phone number, then select the subject you want to change and follow the instructions to complete the payment. Attention! A fee of RM100 per subject will be charged for each re-take.

Candidates can log in to their account again after a few weeks to check the result of the re-correction after they have submitted their request. If the result of the re-correction is that the result remains the same, then the candidate does not need to receive a new report card. If there is a change in the recorrected result, then you can contact the school to receive a new transcript.
