Smooth traffic on main highways today morning.

As many people start to make their way back to their homes after spending the Hari Raya Aidiladha holidays at their hometowns, it is reported that traffic flow is smooth on all main routes this morning.

On its official Twitter account, the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) stated that as of 10.30am, traffic was still flowing freely in both directions on roads in the north, south, and eastern sectors, including areas near toll plazas.

Additionally, the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link and the Johor Causeway traffic was reported to be flowing freely in both directions (Linkedua).

There was a reported accident on the northbound North-South Expressway (PLUS) at KM52.7 from Sedenak to Simpang Renggam, but no lanes were stopped and traffic was moving without incident.

On the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway westbound, at KM34 from Genting Sempah to Gombak, another collision was also recorded, impeding the fast lane but maintaining a steady flow of traffic.

During the Christmas holidays, LLM advised drivers entering or leaving the Klang Valley to abide by the North-South Expressway’s travel time guidelines.

The public can obtain the most recent traffic updates by calling the Plusline toll-free number 1-800-88-0000 and visiting their Twitter page at www.twitter.com/plustrafik or by calling the LLM line 1-800-88-7752 and visiting their Twitter account at www.twitter.com/LLMinfotrafik.
