Hap Seng Smart has officially become Smart’s first authorized dealer in Malaysia and is expected to launch Smart #1 electric car in Malaysia in the fourth quarter of 2023. The first Smart showroom in Malaysia is expected to open in Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, in the fourth quarter of this year, while the second showroom will be in Balakong, Selangor.
The Smart #1 electric vehicle is positioned as an electric small SUV, with a fully charged range of about 440km, an output of 272PS/343Nm, and a 0-100km/h time of only 6.7 seconds.
