Skyline Luge KL: Gravity-driven thrill with themed slides and chairlifts!

13/12/2023

Have you gone to Sien in all the paradises in Malaysia? Come, come, come~ The editor will introduce you to the new check-in location! The first gravity-driven slide park in Malaysia is officially open to the public!

The much-anticipated Skyline Luge Kuala Lumpur will officially open on December 9, 2023! This 50-acre sledding park located in Gamuda Gardens is located in the heart of the Klang Valley’s northern development corridor.

In 1985, Skyline was established in New Zealand. Skyline Luge in Kuala Lumpur is the second luge park in Southeast Asia and the first luge park in Malaysia, as well as the eighth luge park worldwide. This place has over 1.6 kilometers of slides that are broken down into four categories: Express, Legend, Ultra, and Gravity.

The fact that the longest tunnel in Skyline’s history was constructed inside a sled is astounding. LED lights are also used to decorate the tunnel. I heartily urge everyone to check out Night Luge! You have the option to arrive after dark, take in the spectacular nighttime slide show, and watch the vibrant tunnel lights change!

Skyline Luge has always been a leader in offering exceptional and inventive experiences, and their debut into the Malaysian entertainment market signals the start of an exciting new chapter, according to Gavin Barnes, General Manager of Skyline Luge KL Slopes:

“ Featuring the longest tunnel ever built, our Kuala Lumpur Slide Park sets a new benchmark for thrill-seekers! I’m excited to introduce this new adventure to Malaysians. It will create an unparalleled thrilling experience that is sure to delight everyone Becoming a bright spot in Kuala Lumpur’s vibrant landscape.”

You can also ride the chairlift to the summit to take in the expansive views! In addition to providing a chairlift and a roller coaster for guests to enjoy, Skyline Luge also built an automatic camera to record all the good times!

The helmet with the hands-free RFID is my favorite! Once the roller coaster ride is over, you can use the RFID on the helmet to scan out pictures and videos, freeing up your hands to enjoy yourself fully for everyone who enjoys taking photos and videos!

For safety reasons, little adventurers who want to experience the Luge slide alone will need to comply with the corresponding age or height restrictions, of which the height must be at least 110 cm. For young adventurers between 85 cm and 110 cm tall, you can ride on the slide and share the fun time with an adult guest.

As for the chairlift experience, those who are taller than 136 centimeters can enjoy the leisurely air ride alone, while those between 85 centimeters and 135 centimeters need to be accompanied by an adult to enjoy this wonderful experience.

The Skyline Luge will bring you and your family a wonderful experience for adventure lovers and will become an important part of the expansion of Gamuda Gardens.

Among the lively attractions of Gamuda Luge Gardens, you can not only experience the excitement and fun brought by the Luge slide, but also enjoy the FunPark amusement park suitable for family gatherings, and the fascinating water ride Big Bucket Splash.

These three exciting attractions will solidify Gamuda Luge Gardens’ position as a premier tourist destination, offering unparalleled exploration, entertainment and fun for visitors of all ages.
