Woman Discloses Terrifying Discovery of Worms in Burger Purchased at Rest Stop
A woman’s horrifying experience at a rest stop went viral after she noticed worms crawling inside a cheeseburger she ordered. The woman can be seen opening the burger and displaying a horrific sight – a clump of larvae moving between the bun and beef layers – in a video she posted online.
In the video, she says,
“Thank goodness I didn’t just eat it.”
The video shows her removing both the top and bottom layers of the beef burger, only to discover countless larvae crawling on the meat, rendering it unappealing.
According to Malaysian news outlet “mStar,” the woman bought the burger at a motorway rest stop on Friday.
Though the 19-second video did not disclose where the burger was purchased, it prompted debate among netizens. Many people were inquisitive about the burger’s origins, while others advocated checking the interior layers before eating a burger.
Several netizens questioned the burger’s freshness, claiming that such an incident would not have occurred if it had been freshly prepared.
In response to the comments, the woman stated that her friend had queried the seller about the freshness of the burger during the transaction. The seller told them that the burgers were freshly prepared and arrived in good condition.
Netizens reacted with their anger at the video, claiming that it made them completely lose their appetite. Some viewers found the size of the worms displayed in the video unsettling.
