Selangor students who are studying at university, remember to apply for the admission bonus of RM1,000!
In order to encourage students from Selangor to achieve better academic achievements, the Selangor State Government will provide an admission bonus of RM1,000 to eligible freshmen through the “Selangor University Advanced Study Award”.
This bonus will be awarded to Selangor students who have a family income of less than RM5,000 and have successfully entered local public and private universities. The RM1,000 admission bonus will be distributed to students who have successfully applied through their bank accounts.
Those eligible can go to the official website https://hpipt.selangor.gov.my/portalv1/ to apply. The deadline is March 31, 2021.
Application conditions:
1. Applicant and parents must be Malaysian citizens.
2. Applicant and parents must meet one of the following conditions:
a) Applicant must be born or settled in Selangor.
b) Applicant’s parents must be born or settled in Selangor.
c) Applicant must have attended school in Selangor for at least 11 years, and their parents must have resided in Selangor for more than 11 years.
3. Applicant must have studied in Ijazah Sarjana Muda, Diploma or Sijil Kemahiran Tahap 4 recognized by the government.
4. Applicant must have already report to the tertiary institutions.
5. Applicant must be a college student in the first grade.
6. Applicant must hold a SPM certificate
7. Applicant’s household income must not exceed RM5,000
8. Application does not provide complete information will be denied

1. Applicant’s birth certificate
2. A copy of applicant’s parents ID card
3. Enrollment letter
4. Primary and secondary school graduation certificates
5. Parents’ pay slip
6. A copy of applicant’s bank account information
