According to U Mobile’s network coverage map, U Mobile will be rolling out 5G services in several areas of the country, including Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Johor.
This comes after Finance Minister Tunku Zafrul stated that the country’s telecoms companies must sign 5G agreements with Digital National Berhad (DNB) by August 31. Six of the country’s major telecommunications companies have already agreed to take a stake in National Digital (DNB).
Only YTL’s Yes has officially launched its 5G network services in the country, while the other telcos are expected to launch their 5G network services one after another.
