As we all know, the 96-year-old Tun Dr Mahathir was a doctor before going to politics. I didn’t expect that a sick leave sheet he wrote 58 years ago is still well preserved!
According to Sin Chew Daily, netizen Rahim Abah posted a sick leave form on Facebook post the day before yesterday to share with other netizens: “This is a special thing, which is still well-received, and few people can do it. This is a memory that cannot be bought or sold. The sick leave form issued by Tun Dr Mahathir.”
It turned out that this was the sick leave sheet written by former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir when he was a doctor in 1963. Even though it has been more than half a century, the handwriting is clear!
It can be seen from the sick leave sheet that Tun Dr Mahathir was issued at his clinic in Alor Setar, Kedah on September 1, 1963, and the letter also bears the seal and signature of Tun Dr Mahathir at that time.
Although it was only a sick leave list for students at that time, looking back at the history of Tun Dr. Mahathir who was in charge of the political situation in Malaysia twice, it has become a historical relic with preservation value.
