The Qatar World Cup will be broadcast live by RTM!
RTM will broadcast the Qatar World Cup live for free to the general public.
41 Qatar World Cup matches will be broadcast on RTM, 27 of which will be live and the rest delayed, according to a statement from Communications and Multimedia Commission Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa.
RTM will make live or delayed events available on three TV platforms and one internet platform. TV2, TV OKEY, and RTM SPORT are the three TV stations. RTM Klik works as the network platform. RTM will broadcast games in Malaysia that draw a lot of spectators and competitive nations.
The cost of the RTM coverage of the World Cup in Qatar is RM32.5 million. Additionally, 41 matches from the 2018 World Cup were broadcast by RTM for a total cost of around RM30 million.
From November 20 to December 18, Qatar will host the 2022 World Cup, with Ecuador hosting the opening game.
