Resignation is not to avoid problems. If there are six signs, maybe it’s time to seriously consider changing jobs!

Almost everyone has had the idea of resigning, but under the consideration of all kinds of reality and commitment, this idea was dismissed. However, standing in front of the multiple-choice questions of resignation, if these six signs appear in your current job, it is time to seriously consider resigning.

  • The work environment is very toxic, which makes your mental state very poor.

If your working environment keeps deteriorating your mental, it will be an important wake-up call for resignation. Politics in the workplace, unreasonable demands of the boss, etc., all add to the pressure of work and may bring you mental health problems. Before resigning, think about whether this pressure comes from the improvement of working ability or the pressure of personnel. Try to talk to your boss, raise your difficulties, or communicate with the personnel department, and try to solve these problems before you decide to resign. If everything has been tried but nothing has changed, it may be time to quit.

  • Can’t find a sense of mission in work.

According to a survey conducted by LinkedIn, among 3,000 respondents, 35% of professionals think that they don’t like their current jobs because they don’t have a sense of mission from their jobs. Every day’s work seems to be done for completion, and there is no sense of satisfaction. If you feel the same way, ask yourself: Do you agree with the company’s vision? Do you feel proud of your work? No matter how happy you are, do you think your job is meaningful?

  • No space for improvement

Space improvement means not only salary increase or promotion but also improvement of your skills. If you can take over new responsibilities every one or two quarters, such as planning to arrive and leading a team to execute the project, it will be regarded as an improvement of skills. Before determining whether you have space for improvement, you can talk to your leader or supervisor about your development space and see if you can have the opportunity to learn different skills in a customized period of time. If you meet a boss with a small horizon, who has been suppressing subordinates and not giving space for development, you can consider resigning.

  • The boss has been drawing cakes.

If the company’s structure is very small, it has been drawing big cakes and likes to write bad checks with you, then wake up early and leave as soon as possible!

  • Pay unworthy.

Whether a job is worth sticking to is closely related to salary. You can first understand the salary range and standard of your position in the industry. If you have any objection to the salary, you can raise and communicate with the Personnel Department. If the result is not ideal, it’s time to find another way out.

  • The dream professional runway is completely different from the present one.

If you really want to change careers, think about your long-term plan and write it down. Although you can’t change the runway in naked resignation, you can study related skills in your spare time, or take this interest as a sideline and develop it slowly. When you have a steady income or enough skills, you can change your career track!

If these signals light up frequently, it may be time to change companies.
