A new price for the rapid antigen test kit will be announced next month. It may be reduced to below RM10!
The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) stated that the government will reduce the selling price of rapid antigen test kits next month. The current price is RM19.90 per kit, and it is not excluded that it will be reduced to below RM10 next month.
Currently the Medical Devices Administration (MDA) of the Ministry of Health has approved the sale of 41 rapid test kits, namely Salixium, Gmate, Beright, Alltest, JusChek, Longsee, Sichuan Xincheng, Flowflex, STANDARD Q, ProDetect NEWGENE, Lituo, GRUENBANKA, Humasis, LYHER, Roche, etc.
As the Ministry of Health approves more and more rapid test kits, suppliers say they will be able to sell rapid antigen test kits at RM7 to RM8.
