Q3 Speedtest Report, Average Internet Speed 31.34Mbps in Malaysia!

Speedtest has released its Global Internet Speed Report for the third quarter (September) of 2021, ranking Malaysia 82nd with an average Internet speed of 31.34Mbps, up from 28.02Mbps in the second quarter.

According to the Global Internet Speed Report for September 2021 released by Speedtest, the average global mobile network speed was 63.15Mbps for downloading and 13.37Mbps for uploading.

The United Arab Emirates topped the list, 238.06 Mbps, while South Korea ranked second with 202.61 Mbps, Norway and Qatar177.72 Mbps and 172.18 Mbps, respectively. China ranked 5th, 165.38 Mbps. Australia ranked 11th with 135.30 Mbps.

Singapore ranks 17th with 105.01Mbps, Taiwan ranks 20th with 95.51Mbps, Hong Kong SAR ranks 27th with 83.58Mbps, Japan ranks 35th with 69.02Mbps, Brunei ranks 36th with 67.32Mbps, Thailand ranks 49th with 56.90Mbps, Vietnam ranks 59th with 43.32Mbps. Philippines ranked 72nd with 35.03Mbps.

From this report, Malaysia’s mobile internet speed is worse than Iraq and Iran, with an average speed of 42.33Mbps in Iraq and 35.48Mbps in Iran.
