On January 9, Duchess of Cambridge, Kate celebrated her 40th birthday. On that day, the British Kensington Palace released a new portrait of Kate to commemorate a new chapter in her life, moving towards a new journey monument at the age of 40.

Kate’s new portrait was taken by the famous Italian photographer – Paolo Rovisi himself – and the set was completed last November at Kew Gardens. Kate chose her favorite fashion brand, Alexander McQueen, as the clothing for the entire set of portraits.

One of the portraits was described by foreign media as very future queen style. In the photo, Kate wore a one-neck ribbon dress with her eyes looking forward, and she also wore her late mother-in-law Princess Diana’s collection of jewelry and earrings in tribute to the late Princess Diana. The style and look of this photo exudes elegance.

Another photo is more symbolic of Kate’s identity as a modern woman and a commoner princess. In this photo, she wore a red satin one-shoulder gown with a confident smile on her face, showing the verve of a modern woman.

Kate also chose a lace one-shoulder gown for her portrait. In this photo, Kate differs from the first two in that this photo features a large close-up of her face with a gracious smile, reflecting the nature of a commoner princess. The photographer who took this photo for Kate said that after being in contact with her, he could tell she was a kind and gentle person with an easy-going attitude.
