This means that the price of chicken will no be free to fluctuate according to the market price.
In addition, the Prime Minister also announced in the message that the electricity and water rates in the West Malaysia Peninsula will be maintained. The Prime Minister said that despite the high cost of fuel and power generation, the government will continue to bear the RM5.8 billion allowance.
Under the current tariff system, household customers will still be entitled to a rebate of 2 sen per kilowatt hour (2 sen / kWj), while commercial customers will continue to be charged a rebate of 3.7 sen per kilowatt hour (3.7 sen / kWj).
This announcement by the Prime Minister is a relief to everyone as inflation in the country will not continue to worsen.
