According to the Prime Minister, 9 tolls under the PLUS, KLK and LPT1 will be exempted people can use these road for free.
Nine of the thoroughfares will be toll-free, eight of the tolled thoroughfares will enjoy a 50% toll discount and 13 of the thoroughfares will enjoy a 30% toll discount. The discount period is from 12 midnight on 30 April to 11.59pm on 1 May and from 12 midnight on 7 May to 11.59pm on 8 May 2022.
Free access is available on PLUS, ELITE, SPDH, BKE, LINKEDUA, JPP, LPT1, LPT2 and KLK. A 50% discount on tolls is available on KESAS, LDP, GRANDSAGA, BESRAYA, NPE, AKLEH, MEX and DUKE.
Highway with a 30% discount on the toll are SMART, GUTHRIE, LATAR, LLB, KLSA, SILK, JPP2, SKVE, SPRINT, LEKAS, GRAND SEPADU, SDE, WCE.
This concession is aimed at easing the heavy traffic during the Labour Day and Eid holidays, as the waiver of tolls will ease traffic congestion at toll booths.
