Primary and secondary schools in China will have their final holidays from February 17/18.
According to the 2022/2023 school holiday schedule issued by the Ministry of Education, primary and secondary schools will be able to enjoy the final school holiday of up to 30 days starting on February 17/18 and the new school year will start on March 18/19.
The new school year will start on March 19, 2023, for schools in Group A and March 20, 2023, for schools in Group B. The new school year will start on March 20, 2023 for schools in Group A and March 20, 2023, for schools in Group B.
It is worth mentioning that the new school year will start on March 12/13, but the Ministry of Education has decided to postpone the start of the school year by one week in order to make way for the SPM exams.
School holidays at the end of the semester
Group A: February 17 – March 18, 2023
Group B: February 18 – March 19, 2023
Group A: Johor, Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan
Group B: Malacca, Negeri Sembilan, Pahang, Perak, Perlis, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya
