According to the Ministry of Education’s announcement of the 2022 school holidays for primary and secondary schools, the Eid al-Fitr school holidays will start from 29/30 April to 7/8 May for primary and secondary schools.
Eid al-Fitr in 2022 is expected to fall on 3rd and 4th May. Schools will be closed from 29th or 30th April until 7th or 8th May for a total of 9 days of school holidays. 9 days of school holidays are inclusive of Labour Day holidays, Eid holidays and weekly holidays.
Group A: Kedah, Johor, Kelantan and Terengganu
Group B: Perlis, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Pahang, Sabah, Sarawak, Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya
Holiday(9 days)
Group A: 29th April (Friday) – 7th May (Saturday)
Group B: 30th April (Sat) – 8th May (Sun)
