Primary and secondary schools in the country will be able to enjoy 5 days of school holidays in 2023 for the Lunar New Year.
According to the information released by the Ministry of Education, primary and secondary schools in the country will enjoy a minimum of 5 days of school holidays in 2023 for the Lunar New Year. If schools take their own holidays, they can enjoy more days.
The Ministry of Education has listed January 20 and 24 as special holidays, with January 24 being Johor, Terengganu, Kedah and Kelantan.
If we add in the weekend and Sunday, schools will be able to enjoy the Lunar New Year school holiday from January 20 to January 24. This also means that schools will open on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year.
