The police will launch a road safety campaign from April 29 to May 8, in which all vehicles on federal and interstate highways will be driven at a reduced speed of 10 kilometers per hour, i.e. from 80 to 70 kilometers per hour on interstate roads and from 90 to 80 kilometers per hour on federal roads.
In addition, heavy vehicles are banned from the roads three days before (April 30 to May 2) and two days after (May 7 and 8) Eid al-Fitr, while construction work on thoroughfares, federal roads and interstate roads must be stopped
