People who are eligible for the booster dose will receive an appointment notice via MySejahtera!

According to the information by the Ministry of Health, people do not need to arrange appointments for booster doses by themselves. The Ministry of Health will arrange the appointments for qualified persons via MySejahtera. People who are eligible for the booster dose will receive appointment notices in January and February, and people are urged to check MySejahtera.

If you don’t want to wait for MySejahtera’s appointment, you can contact the relevant hospital or clinic to arrange an appointment by yourself. The relevant hospital or clinic will put your name on the waiting list and will contact you to get the booster shot once there is a vacancy.

The Minister of Health Khairey announced at the end of last year that the interval between the second dose of the vaccine and the booster vaccine will be shortened, which means that the booster shot can be vaccinated after 3 months. Whether you were vaccinated by Sinovac, Pfizer vaccine, or AstraZeneca vaccine before, you can get a booster shot 3 months later.

The Ministry of Health recommends that people be vaccinated with Pfizer booster shots because Pfizer booster shots can provide better protection. The Ministry of Health will only provide Sinovac booster doses for people who are allergic to mRNA vaccines. As for other people who insist on getting Sinovac booster doses, they can go to private hospitals or clinics for vaccination.
