The highest water level will occur from October 8 to October 9 2021, reaching a height of 5.6 metres. The highest water level will occur between 6.30 am, and 7.40 am. A tidal wave of 5.4 metres will also appear on October 10 at 8.13 am.

The majlis perbandaran has also closed all seaside facilities, such as food centres and retail kiosks, classified as cautionary zones during this period. Parents are urged to tell their children not to go to the beach to play in the water.
