According to a message from Health Minister Kerry, all vaccination centers nationwide will be open for walk-in booster shots for people 18 years of age or older. This measure will be implemented from January 29, 2022.
For private clinics, people will need to contact the clinic to schedule an appointment or ask if there are any openings. People can find out about the vaccination centers in private clinics through the ProtectHealth website. It is important to note that the type of vaccine will depend on the availability of each vaccination center.
People who want to walk in for a booster directly are urged to ensure that MySejahtera already has an electronic certificate for two doses of the vaccine. Those who do not have a smartphone can bring their vaccination card to the vaccination center.
With the Lunar New Year approaching, family gatherings and social events will increase and the Ministry of Health is encouraging people to get their booster shots as soon as possible.
