Our country is currently experiencing a monsoon interval! This phenomenon is expected to end next week!
According to the weather bureau, our country and the Western Pacific are experiencing a mild La Niña with increased rainfall in the country. The La Niña phenomenon is expected to last until the end of the year.
Several areas of the country are currently experiencing rainy and wet weather, which is caused by the Monsoon Break. During this period, the winds do not come from the southwest, so the northern and western parts of the peninsula, Sabah and the western parts of Sarawak will experience wet weather.
Once the monsoon break ends next week, there will be less rainfall in the country. However, the west coast of the peninsula, northern Sarawak and western parts of Sabah will still experience thunderstorms in the morning. The rainfall from June to August this year will be higher than previous years.
The weather is unpredictable, and some experts point out that our weather bureau is also a bit unable to keep up with the changes in the weather, so it is often too late to issue a rainstorm warning, which prevents people from taking immediate precautions.
