How to renew CIMB Debit Card online?
Every Debit Card has an expiry date, and the cardholder must replace it for a new one before the expiry date. If the cardholder does not renew the Debit Card before the deadline, the Debit Card will be invalid after that date.
Do you know when your Debit Card is about to expire? The words VALID THRU can be found on the front of the Debit Card, followed by a series of numbers such as 10/22, 09/23, and so on. 10/22 will expire in October 2022, whereas 09/23 will expire in September 2023.
To make it easier for cardholders to renew their debit cards, CIMB Bank has introduced the convenience of online debit card renewal. Cardholders can simply fill out the information online, and the replacement Debit Card will be mailed to the address you provided within 14 working days.
Cardholders can renew their Debit Card three months before it expires, and there is no fee for the renewal process. After getting a new Debit Card, the cardholder must visit a CIMB ATM near them to activate the new card.
Notice! The CIMB PETRONAS Debit Mastercard, CIMB MyDebit Mastercard (previously known as CIMB Tesco Debit Mastercard), CIMB Preferred Debit Mastercard, and CIMB Octo Debit Mastercard are the only CIMB Debit Cards that cannot be renewed online.
