Thunderstorms are expected to last until 5 p.m. on September 13, 2022, according to a statement from the Malaysian Meteorological Department at 2.25 p.m.

Kedah, Penang, Perak, Terengganu, Pahang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Sarawak, and Sabah are among the affected states and territories.

Roads that are exposed to lightning floods should be avoided and drivers must drive carefully at a slower speed.

7. WP Kuala Lumpur

8. Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu, Seremban dan Kuala Pilah)

9. Johor (Kluang, Mersing, Kulai, Kota Tinggi dan Johor Bahru)

10. Sarawak: Kuching (Bau dan Kuching), Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu (Sibu dan Kanowit), Mukah (Tanjung Manis, Daro dan Matu), Kapit (Song), Bintulu (Bintulu) dan Miri (Subis, Beluru dan Miri)
