On June 22, American singer-songwriter Ailee will do her maiden solo show in Kuala Lumpur’s Mega Star Arena.
The I Am: Here In Kuala Lumpur concert, organised by LOL Asia, promises to be an immersive experience full of thrilling acts.
The K-pop sensation is also expected to serenade her fans with some of her greatest hits, which include captivating dance tracks and poignant ballads.
Ailee, a South Korean singer-songwriter, has captured the hearts of audiences with her strong songs that focus on women’s empowerment and her amazing stage presence. She is known as the “Beyonce of South Korea.”
Since making her debut in 2012 with the popular song “Heaven,” the 34-year-old has put out four studio albums, twenty-six music videos, six extended plays, twenty-three singles, and more than thirty original soundtracks.
Among Ailee’s many accomplishments are her four straight Mnet Asian Music Awards victories for Best Female Vocal Performance: If You (2016), Mind Your Own Business (2015), Singing Got Better (2014), and U&I (2013).
The best-performing single of 2017 was her song I Will Go To You Like The First Snow, which was recorded for the K-drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God. In the Korean sound record industry, it is also the best-selling record for dramas and films.
