The Federal Reserve may increase interest rates on Feb 1 by 0.25%.

On February 1, U.S. time, the Federal Reserve (FED) will issue a resolution statement. The Federal Reserve of the United States is widely expected to announce another rate hike of 0.25% to 0.50%. The federal base rate in the United States will be in the target range of 4.50% to 4.75% at that time.

Many central banks will announce interest rates in the coming week, and the European Central Bank will announce whether or not to raise interest rates on February 2. Experts predict that the interest rate will be raised by 0.50%, bringing it to 3.00%.

The Bank of England will announce its interest rate policy on February 2, the Reserve Bank of Australia will announce its policy on February 7, and the Bank of Canada will announce its policy on March 1.

On March 9, Bank Negara Malaysia will also announce whether or not to raise the overnight policy rate (OPR). Most experts believe that after suspending rate hikes in January, Bank Negara will resume raising interest rates by 0.25% in March.
