On August 9 at 7 p.m. Malaysia time, the brand-new Toyota Vios will be formally unveiled in Thailand.
The latest generation of Sedan sedan will be released on August 9 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm Thai time, which is 7 pm to 8:30 pm Malaysian time, according to information provided by Toyota Motor Thailand.
According to Internet previews, the new generation of Vios will feature the family’s most modern exterior and interior styling. Double bars and three-dimensional darkened lights in three dimensions will be used in the design of the rear lights. Flat LED lights are used in the headlights. The most popular floating standup screen will be used inside.
The DNGA chassis design from Daihatsu will reportedly be used in the new generation of Vios, code-named D29A, according to media reports. In Thailand, the Vios is known as the Yaris Ativ, and it has always used a 1.2L four-cylinder self-ignition intake engine.
The launch date and engine type of the brand-new Vios in Malaysia have not yet been announced by UMW Toyota in Malaysia. It is generally believed that UMW Toyota won’t release a new Vios generation until no earlier than 2023.
